Description:

This course is GWO Approved and is conducted in accordance with their training standards.

This course is designed for people who visit wind turbine sites occasionally no more than six times a year. It will give you the basic skills, confidence and knowledge to act safely during a supervised visit to an Offshore Wind Turbine.

The course includes both the 3.5 hour GWO WLA Onshore Module and 3.5 hour GWO WLA Offshore Module.

Over the course of the day learners will be provided with a range of knowledge and skills relevant to

Hazards, Fire Awareness, Medical Emergency, PPE, Working at Height, Evacuation into water, Man overboard, Swimming techniques and Using a life raft.

Course Venue:

This course will be held at our Malmo Road facility in Hull (HU7 0YF).

Registration / Times:

Registration will open at 0800 hrs and will close at 0820 hrs. The course will finish at approximately 1700 hrs daily.
