Description:

Emergency Air Breathing training course (EBS) is to ensure that the delegates gain the required knowledge and understanding of the particular hazards and the appropriate practical emergency response actions to be taken should the requirement for emergency deployment arise. 

This is a physically demanding and stressful course, combining theoretical and practical elements in a dry (classroom) environment.

Certificates are issued to learner on successful completion of course.

Pre-Requisites:

• Hold a valid BOSIET or FOET Certificate;

• Hold a valid offshore medical certificate or operator approved medical certificate;

• Complete the approved centres medical declaration.

Course Venue:

The course will be held at our Malmo Road facility in Hull (HU7 0YF).

Registration / Times:

The course dates/times can be agreed on an individual basis and lasts approximately 90 minutes.

Photo ID:

You must bring government issued photographic identification on your first day (i.e. passport, driving licence, Discharge Book, Permanent Resident Card, U.S. military ID etc.).  Vantage cards are no longer accepted as valid ID for OPITO Courses.

Fitness:

The course is physically demanding and includes a large amount of practical training and learners are required to participate in all elements.  Learners will be asked to make and sign a declaration of good health and fitness at the time of registration.

PPE requirements:  

Learners will not be expected to bring any equipment as this is a classroom based course.

Special Notes:

Facilities include: Free on-site parking at all sites / free Wi-Fi at all sites / Option to purchase breakfast sandwiches each morning (Malmo Road site only).
