Certificate of Updated Proficiency in Basic Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting.

HOTA is introducing STCW Updated Training following "the manila amendments to the STCW Convention and Code."

The deadline for the implementation of the required changes is 1st January 2017.

Learners Pre-Requisites:

• Learners must provide evidence of a completed 2.5 Day MCA Approved STCW Basic Firefighting & Fire Prevention Course or update.

Special Notes:

These courses will require refresher training every five years under the new STCW Convention and Code.

Learners or booking companies MUST ensure that one of the below forms of personal identification is available to be presented at course registration:

• Passport
• Discharge Book (or equivalent National document recording a person's sea service)
• National I.D. Card
