Control Room Operators Training – Offshore Fixed Installations

Course Info

Duration : Dependent of Number of Delegates (See Below) Day(s)

Approval: HOTA Attendance Only

Description:

Control Room Operators courses are specific for control room operators and are either conducted on a platform specific computer simulator (where developed) or a generic simulator. The training programme is conducted over one or two days and covers, Command, Control and Communications, Process Upsets, Data Logging and Stress Management.

Generally, two Control Room Operators should be sent to support each other in the training process and both will be exposed to a full range of scenarios to support future assessment to the OPITO Standards. If delegates have limited exposure to the offshore control room environment, formal assessment should fall in line with the above recommendations for OIM’s in order to gain more experience as a control room operator.

A HOTA certificate will be awarded on completion of this course

1 Delegate - 1 Day
