Description:

This course is designed to meet the updating, further practice and assessment requirements for an Advanced Medical Aider. It should be undertaken within 2 years of qualification as an Advanced Medical Aider and at periods not exceeding 2 years.

Learner pre-requisites:

• Valid (in date) Standby Vessel Crew Medical Aid Certificate

Special Notes:

As of the 1st May 2010. learners are now entitled to attend this refresher course three months prior to their current certificate expiry date. Learners who do this will have their certificate forward dated to coincide with their current expiry date.
