Description:

The training and practical assessment programme is provided for electrical personnel who undertake the physical installation and assembly of new 'Ex' equipment and, who perform preventative maintenance and inspections on previously installed equipment.

Learner pre-requisites:

To receive a fully approved Electrical Certificate issued by CompEx Certification Limited, learners attending this course must provide sufficient evidence of one of the following:

• NVQ (Electrical) Level 3, or
• have served a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship, or
• A JIB/ ECS card

Proof of the qualifications must be sent prior to the course commencement, failure to provide the information may result in a certificate issued with the wording "this person has not had their electrical craftsperson status or certification verified. Completion of these units does not infer electrical competence."
