COVID-19 VIRUS – Situation Update and Social Distancing
As a charity, HOTA would like to reassure you we are still managing to operate almost ‘Business as Usual’ for the majority of the Safety Critical and Life Saving Training Courses we provide, albeit with increasingly stringent control measures to keep everyone safe. To support the many measures that have been in place for the last few weeks, we have today introduced mandatory social distancing measures for all delegates, visitors and staff. These include modified classroom, seating and changing arrangements, reduced class sizes, modification to close-contact practical exercises and enhanced medical screening.
As always, the health, safety and welfare of everyone visiting or working at HOTA remains our number one priority and as previously advised we proactively introduced a number of measures to protect everyone in light of the current global coronavirus pandemic (full details available on request). Our dedicated Coronavirus Management Team continues to meet regularly and is following closely and implementing all relevant current UK Government, Public Health England (PHE) and NHS advice. We have also implemented additional mitigation measures as recommended by many of our qualification awarding bodies. We are liaising directly with statutory bodies and other stakeholders as required.
Unable to attend a course due to Coronavirus measures?
We are supporting all of our customers by re-booking delegates onto alternative courses if they are directly affected by current UK Government and NHS self-isolation advice and other official containment measures (in all other cases our normal business terms and conditions apply - supporting evidence may be requested)
