Certificate of Updated Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats.

HOTA is introducing STCW Updated Training following "the manila amendments to the STCW Convention and Code."

The deadline for the implementation of the required changes is 1st January 2017.

Learner Pre-requisites:

Learners must provide evidence of a completed MCA Approved STCW Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats Course (Inc. Capsize) or update, MCA Approved STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boat (other than Fast Rescue Boats) or update and MCA Approved STCW Personal Survival Techniques or update Course.

Special Notes:

These courses will require refresher training every five years under the new STCW Convention and Code.

Learners or booking companies MUST ensure that one of the below forms of personal identification is available to be presented at course registration:

Passport
Discharge Book (or equivalent National document recording a person's sea service)
National I.D. Card
