HOTA, along with a number of partners from across both the private and public sector, are bringing in two panellists who will discuss how investing in the health and wellbeing of your staff is critical to achieve elite performance.

Danny Mills, International Footballer turned entrepreneur will detail how he has translated the psychological and phyiscal strengths required to reach the highest level of profession into meeting the very different demands of the boardroom.

Lt Col Gibson will detail how the need to understand the stresses and strains being upon workforces in the most challenging of environments is not just important, but critical. If it can be achieved in a war zone than it can be achieved in business.

HOTA, is joined by Pepperells Solicitors along with East Riding of Yorkshire Council - Workplace Health and Wellbeing and Behaviour Change, Latus, Navigo Health and Social Care CIC, Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber (RDASH) NHS Foundation Trust and Yorkshire Ambulance Service for the invest in Elite Performance: Health, wellbeing and the bottom line event.

The event will be held on Wednesday 6th June, at the recently opened Allam Medical Building, which is the heart of the University of Hull's £28m Health Campus. Registration is from 11am, a free, healthy lunch provided by Latus Health - will be served at 12.30pm and the event will close around 1pm.

The two speakers will be followed by a Q&A session to examine how developing better psychological and philosophical approaches to elite performance can help your business.

Alongside the speakers, Q&A session and free lunch, our staff will be on hand to allow people to practice their CPR skills, paramedics will be providing health checks, Pepperells will be detailing the health and wellbeing programme being implemented by the firm, RDASH will be explaining wellbeing research which has been completed in conjunction with industry, business and the community and East Riding Council will park its Health Bus outside the venue and provide information about the assistance available to help create a healthier workplace.
