Training & Compliance Manager Vacancy

This exciting opportunity would suit applicants with an extensive knowledge of quality/auditing procedures and experience in a training environment.  Experience of the Offshore, Maritime and/or Renewable Industries at a senior level would be advantageous. The key role of this position is to manage the operation of the Training Unit across HOTA’s three sites in Hull.

Description:

The role will also (but not exclusively) include the following as required:

  • Implement the agreed programme of courses as directed by the Chief Executive.
  • Maximise the utilisation of the Training Unit facilities.
  • Write, develop and amend courses to Industry Standards.
  • Ensure that training is carried out to the Governing Bodies standards at all times.
  • Identify the training needs of new customers as required.
  • Manage external contractors and assessors as required.
  • Ensure Quality, Health, Environment and Safety procedures are implemented at all times.
  • Manage HOTA’s team of instructor’s inc. undertaking personal development reviews.
  • Establish and maintain a rolling schedule of all audits for the business feeding back results to the appropriate managers.
  • Dealing with all external audits and governing bodies.
  • You will be responsible for the management of the ISO 9001 system and the migration to ISO 9001:2015
