How long is the course? The course will be split into the two elements – NGC1 and NGC2. NGC1 will be thirteen weeks in duration and NGC2 will be fifteen weeks in duration. The course will run one evening per week and times will be 1800 - 2100 hrs Who is the course designed for? Managers, supervisors and staff from all types of organisation who need a broad understanding of health and safety issues. The certificate helps them manage risks effectively. Many people take the NEBOSH Certificate as a first step on a career in health and safety. It provides a valuable overview, and is a sound basis for further professional study. What does the course cover? It covers the main legal requirements for safety in the UK, a range of workplace hazards, and methods of control. How is the course assessed? Candidates are assessed with written examinations for each of the two taught units. A unit certificate is issued denoting successful achievement of each unit. A Certificate parchment is issued on completion of the two units and the practical assessment
